To sum it up a beta leak had a pokemyth where when Arceus hatched from its egg, it inadvertently give the fragments of its eggshell sapience and being inert lumps of eggshell given form they lashed out in automatic fear, and Arceus killed them one by one and created the type plates out of them the plate descriptions in game tell a condensed version of the leaked beta myth with the fragments described as "giants" and the fact Arceus doesn't need or use the normal plate and that Regigigas is the "Giant" pokemon led to a fan theory that Regigigas is the sole Surviving giant given Pokemon form as punishment and that Regigigas has slow start so it cant rebel and that the Regis are Regigigas trying to rebuild its lost siblings in Pokemon form to finally get back at Arceus. Its a fun little theory that lead to some Shitposting during the leaks that one autist now treats as fact and keeps posting about it and shitting up Regi threads with.
