I mean you're not wrong. They haven't released anything any near close to the first movies in terms of quality.
All of the later movies range from ok to straight up bad. But they still manage to be fun (except for The Predator)

The trick William Potter.. is not minding that it sucks
Don't take the later installments seriously and you just might have some fun. I do the same with the Jurassic Park sequels
