>Realize nothing matters no matter how hard you try or work, almost every common thing your parents had is now unobtainable

Then older people and employers wonder why genz doesn't want to work, or can't hold a job, not dating, not having babies, are socially inept, half of em got criminal records the other half are mentally unfit, a lot are physically unfit, and a great sense of not caring about anything is sweeping the generation. It was a losing battle before it even began.
