Henry was too mean! She’d come up with a genius plan to punk him later. But, it was finally time to recruit some pack members!!
Clover finishes up her cereal, quickly rinses out the bowl, then speeds for the front door.
“I’m heading out, Dad!”
The man is still snoring.
The mall was actually only five or six blocks away. That might be a distance for LAME people, but for wolves, it was nothing! The girl begins her super-special wolf run on all fours, enjoying the refreshing summer breeze on her face. She lasts for the first two blocks, before her back starts hurting from traveling in ways humans were never meant to, then she begins to just normally walk. It’s a beautiful morning!
When she arrives at the mall, she heads straight for her second-favorite spot, the arcade! (Her first-favorite was the store that sold her this cool tail!) It’s a rather modern arcade, appropriate for the rather modern mall. One might expect arcades to be a relic of the past, but in recent years, they’ve actually seen quite the resurgence! Most of the arcade-goers now are young adults in their twenties, and a lot of the cool machines that took quarters have been replaced with lame air hockey tables, or bowling alleys, or the punching bag, or that one basketball game, but in the corner, like relics of the past, some old games still stand!
Basically no one is there, since it’s not even 10 am, but there are a few little kids dragging their moms around, and a few disgruntled employees. A perfect audience! Clover boots up the ancient Dance Dance Revolution machine, scrolls to her favorite song, ‘Wolf’s Rain’, and gets ready, gripping the bar behind her. She was an expert at this! The top 10 high scores on the song were all her, and she was gonna beat her old record!

Feet flying, practically floating in the air, Clover grins her widest grin possible. This was so awesome! The song even had wolf howls intermittently too! When she finally arrived at the explosive finish, she posed, threw her head back, and howled, “AWOOOOOOO!”
