The animation is cool but I don't know the names of any of the characters beyond Shuji,Ryuko? and the other girl with the red hair. They made no impression . The characters are so thin and I feel like this is actually just nostalgia wank bait but they made the protagonists two girls because Witch from Mercury was popular.
And for some reason, Gundam has to be gamified with the underground duels which is just a cheap way to get Gundam action scenes in without writing a reason why the mobile suits would fight. It's a huge step down from Witch From Mercury storywise. Visually and musically, it is nice.
