I frequently am moved to tears or well up during movies if it's a good enough story (less so if I'm in public or watching with other people)
I consider myself to be a very sensitive individual and find myself easily moved by things in general if they are profound or meaningful enough
Common things in movies that get me are
>anything WW1 related (they shall not grow old really fucked me up I recall)
>any kind of child dying or suffering (First man, the armstrong biopic, really got me on this)
>heroic self-sacrifice
>moments that tap into some kind of transcendental aspect of the human experience (the long take when the baby cries in children of men comes to mind here in particular)
etc
If you cry for star wars or marvel though and you're not 9 years old then you're subhuman
