PVP unlocks after you defeat the scribble witch. Losses are fine, just try to complete your 5 daily PVP matches.
Play score attack and achieve a total cumulative score of 25k to earn 5k event currency. Then, go purchase all 5 event portraits from the event shop and equip it to your Megucas for a higher bonus.
