As if the people doing high quality encodes are using this lmao. When the goal is to make an encode that is transparent to the source HEVC fails to achieve it unless the bitrate is basically identical to what it takes to achieve it with H264. There are other issues with HEVC too. If you were on the good private trackers you could read the forum posts where they explain why they never use it for 1080p and below SDR.
