Not too deep, but deep enough that you’re REALLY able to start pulling power out of him. “GGRRAAAAAAHHHH!” he yells as he tries to pull back, but his body weakens, your own doing its best to hold on to what power you have. That’s when you do something he doesn’t expect. You actually send a little bit of that power back, healing the parts of his body that were starting to crack apart from the immense power forced upon him. Not restoring his energy, but using what you’re taking to stabilize him.
“Broly… in spite of everything, I want you to know this: you being able to make your own choices wasn’t wrong.” you tell him, still taking as much power out of him as you can. “I’m not saying it’s okay that you still want to go off and make people suffer, run off and try to kill my dad, but from all I’ve heard, you weren’t dealt the best hand to start with. I don’t know if this will be enough to get you to start reevaluating things, but I want you to try. Actually try. And that can’t happen if you die here.”
“I’m not… weak… like you…!” he responds, attempting to pull away. “I’ll… be the… strongest…! I don’t need your… mercy!”
“I’d take the offer if I were you.” Vegito declares as he lands a short distance away, his hands forming a circle of energy with an almost rainbow-like shine to it. He then places his hands together, two fingers from each extended as the shine intensifies. It… feels like it almost has some kind of purifying power to it, if an intense one, with Vegito’s golden hair taking on a flame-like state for a moment.
But before he can try anything with it, Vegito… separates. A confused Vegeta and Goku stand there, the shining circle of light fading from the two. “…Uh.” Goku starts hesitantly. “I… don’t think that was supposed to happen.”
“Damn it! Did we use too much power trying to prepare that?” Vegeta questions.
Broly’s Primal Super Saiyan state finally fades, but he only drops down to Super Saiyan 3, and with bitter defiance, he stops trying to escape. Instead, Broly holds a hand out, charging one more green sphere of energy in his hand. “This is what I think… of your… stupid mercy!”
Crap! ‘Izupuru, now would be a good time!’ you telepathically send out to the remaining fused warrior, trying all the harder to drain out the rest of Broly’s power before he can unleash the attack.
