UK jets have begun arriving in the Middle East, with more to follow, Defence Secretary John Healey confirms. He says the deployment aims to “protect our personnel, reassure partners, and reinforce the urgent need for de-escalation.”

Healey declined to say if they might support Israel or join possible US strikes on Iran.
