Whenever games construct alien designs they are all modeled after the human form. This is incredibly based as the main point of games, like all media is escapism. People want to see the boundaries of human imagination stretched and it's completely plausible that aliens would have biology identical to ours. Not to mention its incredibly hot and understandable to just model everything after our own kind down to appearance and social nuances.
