The IDF is preparing for the possibility of heavy barrages from Yemen and Lebanon as well as for operations from Syria by pro-Iranian militias. The bulk of the operation is by the Air Force, but the Home Front Command and the Northern Command are on high alert. In addition, the IDF is actually preparing for days, possibly weeks, of direct, de facto war with Iran and its proxies in the Middle East. The army says that Iran also planned to undermine regimes close to Israel.
