the reason people are giving you the hard time that they are is because several anons had already pointed the flaws of MGE and KC out, and then noted that despite KC's spotted history and the problems that existed with his setting, KC had actually calmed down and dedicated time in more recent years to genuinely address those flaws beyond 'sperging out' with various non-encyclopedia-compilation media, which means the current state of MGE is no longer as unintentionally grimdark as it had been in the past. As a result putting KC himself aside, MGE simply continues to be piled on because most people who dislike MGE simply aren't going to bother keeping up with it and thus wouldn't know this, resulting in them continuing to act on outdated information and older memes.
And then you made a late response dredging up the topic of MGE again in order to dumpster on it with aforementioned outdated information and older memes, and you have now started (once again) the latest round of MGE-related schizo-sperging that almost always happens whenever it comes up where people start trying to draw lines in the sand and shitfling at each other.
Understand people can be neutral on a subject and not feel the need to choose a side despite still having opinions on KC/MGE and agreeing or disagreeing with you and others about specific parts of it. I don't really have a high opinion of KC myself, but I am still impressed he fixed the issues after all these years and I'm willing to appreciate the effort he put in to actually addressing the problems that existed. Not everyone is able or willing to do that.
