My post derailed a bit, but I realize so many of the insufferable and absolutely deranged shitposting that happens is just classic American movie tropes 101. The constant bullshit about stacy/chad/cheating/etc is just the average for them, it's really pathetic... Imagine living like that, imagine being so brainrotten than you project those ideas and scenarios onto characters and relationships from an entierly different culture.
