i think they're far too difficult to pull off aesthetically, most of the time they look rather bad. i used to crush on a girl in my art class who had a small one she wore now and then, but she was all-in on that look and it looked uncanny when she wasn't dressed like the hot topic clearance aisle.

i also witnessed one get caught on something so frankly they're really miss rather than hit for me.
