This is who Christians worhship and idolize. A magic bum desert Rabbi born to a virgin peasant that idolized the poor and undesirables and inverted traditional morality.

This is what the New Testament is full of. "Love your enemies", "Turn the other cheek, and the other one also", "renounce riches and the material in exchange for service to the unfortunate in promise of a magic eternal afterlife".

I would be ashamed to follow such a religion.

2k years of worshipping this?! Some chunky aristocrats just have edited history a bit. 2k years? It's probably like a few hundred, maximum. The youth does not care about religion much at all, especially not abrahamism. It's too cringe and depressing. Norse and Greek and Roman mythology is so much more interesting.
