At the start of canto 1 we are shown how (in a literal sense) Dante's clock powers work, but it is implied that there are more hands he can "pull" out of the door, so I'm wondering, does Dante actually "pull" out of the door the sinners he is reviving? Or just the "sins" so they are then transferred to the body and fill in the lifeless bodies of our dead sinners?
