The old internet was truly amazing. Before Steam took over and fucked everything up I would play Half Life on WON, Jedi Knight on MSN Gaming Zone, and was a wizard at my high school because I could burn CDs for people and make cash. Even back in middle school I was getting other kids to LAN in the computer lab. When I finally got cable internet in year 2000 it was godlike to be able to download at 80 KBps and play games at 30 ping after years on dial up
