Unironically, they are stifling the board's traffic. And all generals in specific. /pw/ is not one of the populous boards. So to have whatever users are left be boxed in the waifu generals is unstainable and kills the board.
It has come to a point where only these specific threads gain attention (and I guess the occasional Nash beaten to death "joke" thread). Anything else goes bottom page in record time with half a dozen replies at best.
Never remember having that problem in /asp/ (and if it were, it only started to happen in /asp/'s last year). Board's unusable for wrestling as it is.
