Clefable have been getting popular lately, I remember a long time ago she (yes, I'm going to say she, because it looks like a girl to me and the gender ratios is 75% female, sue me) wasn't liked by much people which only liked Clefairy and Cleffa but not Clefable for some reason, I guess becoming a new type that is strong while being good in Competitive and popping up occasionally in the anime really did wonders for her
