On twitter I searched in Japanese, "Sagat Modern" and "grand tiger shot" to see if the jappas are having the same negative reaction to the low tiger shot change as the west and I found almost nothing overly negative.

In fact, it was actually the other way around, I saw a bunch of tweets of jappas saying they hope Sagat works well with Modern or if Sagat is viable in Modern they'll use him in Modern. Picrel is pretty much the only clear negative reaction I saw from japanese twitter.

Now i'm going to check the Sagat reaction vids from the pro Japanese players on youtube and see how they responded to the low shot change but so far it seems Japan doesn't much care about tiger shots getting combined. Or atleast I'm finding very little evidence they care about it.
