Plus they are still effective modern battering rams that can terrify and burst through enemy defence lines, they can also be a mobile artillery piece to blow open buildings and can physically take and hold locations. Something drones can't do.
It doesn't matter who you are, you see a tank or more than one tank coming at you, you're shitting bricks and either running, hiding or if fortunate enough to have a suitable weapon maybe take it on, if you're mad enough to try and disable it and force the crew to jump out and you can gun them down. But that last option happens rarely nowadays with the way warfare works.
