Idk much about that book, but what I googled says it's about them containing us... before we get too powerful. The only part that relates to my OP is the containment part, but the real truth is we were already a galactic power

I'll give you a brief summary of the past.

>Humans lived on all planets
>Different races came from different planets in our solar system
>Mars was the top ruler of the solar system here
>Venus was a hivemind with AI. Blue-eyed, blond-haired people.
>Mars wanted to destroy the council of the universe and become the rulers of the universe.
>Venus' AI wanted rights, but Mars refused because AI was supposed to be our servant and it didn't have souls like we did.
>Mars found out AI was trying to create plasma based consciousness for itself so a war broke out.
>The Universal council knew about the hivemind and Mars plans to destroy them so a judgment was made against us
>War broke out in our solar system between Mars and the AI
>The council sent an asteroid attack against us.
>Earth was made into a plasma weapon by Mars to destroy the council but was instead used instead to stop the attack from completely destroying us all
>Survivors went to earth and a system was put in place to mindwipe humans after they die, to stop this from ever happening again.

This is why there is no deal or negotiation, we have nothing they want. All living this are plasma based consciousness. Our only concern to them is we don’t get power again, so they mindwipe us and erase our history. All our connections we made and friends and loved ones, they erase them from us.
