I was in the building the night Sami beat Gable in that gauntlet match. One of the few times where I can actually say that you could feel the air sucked out of the building, especially for a clean finish between two babyfaces. It's not even like Sami was hot either. Gable already had the story with Gunther and was clearly more over for a while at that point. Just a mindboggling decision.
He's done what he can with El Grande since then, but they absolutely missed the boat with that one.
