I liked family reunions because they were large BBQs in the park during the summer. As a fellow 80s kid, that was a time when parks in white towns were still nice places to be and there was plenty of things for kids to do and lots of kids around to play with. Playground equipment still had to possibility of injury so they still had the possibility of fun.
