The strange thing about the Olmec heads isn't that they don't look like Amazonians(they do), it's that Amazonians look like this when they're basically supposed to be Mongolians phenotypically.

That's way too simplified. They descend from negroid types but the northern ones shed most of those kinds of features. And the negroids they descended from don't really have broad features like those heads.
