i guess that was the final straw that made her left the agency afterwards
while I loved hololive during its good old days when everyone's just not serious, carefree and learning the ropes its kinda concerning that a lot of their best talents and cashcows were just cursed to leave like Coco and the taiwan shit and rushia turning out to be a crazy psychofemoid irl. Its just your run of the mill soulless corpo company now, much worse, its japanese run even so they need to adhere to a lot of senseless protocols and rules like being not allowed to stream any games without the management's permission. While i get Gura's passion for Hololive i do believe that they're not the company rn that they're supposed to be back then.
I mean it was better than selling off your company to some insane zaibatsu like Sony but with Hololive being THE vtuber company it appears that they've just remained stagnant without that much competition and even inviting Blackrock to invest in their shares is a tough sell for "remaining independent". Now expect them within the next decade to become wholly Western-owned, their CEO being an Indian and starting to introducetheir first trans BIPOC vtuber.
