Own both and still enjoy both. My N64 library is admittedly limited because I got it near the end of its cycle, but I was still able to get a handful of games on it brand new or second hand that I enjoy. Same with the GameCube, some of my favorite platformers and RPGs are on it such as Donkey Kong Jungle Beat and Baten Kaitos. Gamecube's the reason I found a Final Fantasy I actually enjoy, Crystal Chronicles, and being able to play with three other people was also fun.
It's not that I didn't want a PS1, because I played games like Crash Bandicoot and Spyro whenever I had the chance, but Nintendo took priority. I'd eventually get a PS2 in like 2003, but I mostly wanted one so I could play Harvest Moon: Save the Homelands. I was on a very big Harvest Moon kick as a child, even managed to find Back To Nature at some random Circuit City in the middle of nowhere back then and played only that for an entire summer.
