I always thought a isekai xcom would be an amazing game or story idea. The mc or first heroine would be a witch that has been pardoned takingtheblack style and drafted into the holy Roman empire anti isekai response force. Like the assassins daily life in reverse, she would find herself in the hard end of the stick. Isekai sage shedlan would say his usual " to be honest the technology of the outsiders is so strong that if they wanted to conquer our world there's not much we could do to stop them, in other words, they must have something else in mind."
