Genetically speaking the Samaritans, Chrisitan Lebanese, Christian Palestinians, Christian Jordanians, etc are the "real jews". The have the most unmixed Levantine DNA that goes back to the Bronze/Iron Age.

After that you have the more mixed groups like muslim palestinians, muslim jordanians, etc and then the separdic and mizrahi jews.

Ashkenazi are heavily mixed with Europeans, but do have Levantine DNA.
