One of the annoying things about Kirin is that, in terms of a Turn 0 play, he's also the best pop target, so your Turn 0 plays either have to be something like Double Kirin and some other guy or Kirin, Garunix and another guy. Fire Kings is a bit annoying in that way, like how Ulcanix needs another FIRE, FKI needs a monster, Garunix needs a FIRE to be popped, regardless, I do still think it's basically the platonic version of what most of the shitty post-anime TCG exclusives were trying to accomplish gameplay wise, which makes it funnier that it's not even remotely one.
