It's not that. It's the everything problem. Housing/rent being too expensive. Exhausting working conditions and shrinking opportunities due to automation. Escapism through endless media consumption. The lack of third spaces, and the monetization of all social activities. We're all too busy slaving away that relationships are not in our reach. This applies for both sexes. I once had a set-up date and she could not stop talking about career stuff and the like. Rambling on and on, she was the only one talking. it's like a mind virus. We can't be happy because so much of our lives is just work. we even praise it - the "grind", working 2-3 jobs, instead of seeing it as the exploitation that it is.
