Additional thing I remembered:
She-hulk has, for the longest time, been considered to be one of the most difficult comics to get into, because most of her stories are heavily related to other Marvel characters who you're expected to already know about. Or are just given to hacks.

Yet she's pretty damn popular in fanart, purely because she's a wild buff woman with volumous pretty hair and green skin.
