>All this talk about this being Ogryn's strongest build,
According to whom, jewtubers? Taunt IS the strongest, both damage amp and cdr are very good, I personally prefer cdr for stability. Shield is good in the sense that it seriously cements your role as crowd control stagger spam, but it requires that you have competent team mates that can kill bosses quick.
>or Ogryn being the strongest
Ogryn is the strongest class right now. Probably not by THAT much when you factor in crackhead zealot builds that require 3 billion inputs and near-perfect play, but then consider that a good ogryn build just spams light attacks without using a singular brain cell. It's the easiest class to be extremely overpowered as.
>it relies entirely on your inbred console teammates
No, you were simply build checked, although chances are you made positioning mistakes also.
TOOONKing is extremely rarely useful. If you were BOOONKing instead, you could be similarly invincible while also dealing fuckloads of damage. Drop the shield, grab a club.
Shooting faraway shooters is part of your job. It should be the vet's, but if the vet is retarded, you can fill in with single stubber. It's a fine weapon. You don't need the rumbler crutch.
CC is literally your sole role. Smite is fine depending on the modifiers, but shouldn't even be in your psyker's kit if he knows what he's doing.

I was already about to post my previous recommendations about the IIIb club. Thunderous (the brittleness blessing) IS good and DOES make a difference, but I've since swapped over to confident strike because this thing has truly retarded attack speed. It's already possible to tank most bosses without it, but that relies on having taunt toughness regen running. With confident strike, you truly are borderline invincible.
