What's the vibe over there right now? Is this gonna be a quick deescalation thing, as happens between India/Pakistan sometimes, a chilly ceasefire like the Koreas, or a hot war like Ukraine/Russia? I have a pair of friends who are planning to fly into Bangkok and go backpacking around the region in a few months and I want to be able to warn them off if they'll be in greater-than-average danger.
