As the guy who kept posting the copypasta about comparing NieA_7 to Haruhi, to me this is the series that I feel is the closest to how I felt when I watched Haruhi Suzumiya. A lot of aspects of Haruhi reminded me of a typical aBe anime, which sounds weird when we consider Haruhi is from the moeblob era (and yoshitoshi abe hated moe). But there's a certain level of narrative and theoretical depth to the Haruhi series that you won't get from most anime, but you will from an aBe-related series. To me NieA_7 is the best fit because one of the key themes of NieA_7 is how the extraordinary becomes the ordinary, and vice-versa. Also the dynamic between Haruhi & Kyon is very similar to that of Mayuko & Niea.
