It’s a shame that most people will probably get some dogshit route and get turned off. Kodaka said he wanted the game to feel like a manga magazine where you can see all sorts of stories from different authors but that approach doesn’t work if the player goes in blind and ends up reading something they hate because we don’t have the names/information about it ahead of time to have an idea of what you’re getting into.

I did look up the routes, picked and chose, and was happy but it is pretty unfortunate that the average player will most likely not go as far as spoiling themselves like I did with that surprisingly being a better experience.

I think doing the kick option next would be best after KG but the one I did after which ended up being a personal favorite of mine is on the spare Eito side where you have to pick a school. One of the options leads to a Darumi route and it made me able to stop hating her after KG
