Locking eyes with Quattro, Amate frightened expression shifts into an annoyed scowl upon hearing the name being provided to her.

Tossing aside the black wig upon his head, Quattro unlocks a maitnence hatch to reveal a battered, retrofitted Gundam behind it.

>Quattro: To the world, I have no name. To my comrades, I am Quattro...to you though? To you, you may know me as Char Aznable.
>Amate: C-char...?!

Entering into the cockpit of the damaged Gundam with Amate being set on his lap, Char readies the Gundam to activate as a beam javelin burns its way into the tunnel. Tapping multiple retrofitted switches above his control panel, multiple lights flash behind Char and Amate. As these lights flicker, Amate feels a pressure swelling in her head.

>Amate: N-no...! Not now...not again...!
>Quattro: What is wrong?
>Amate: This feeling...s-seizure...!
>Quattro:...Incredible. Your reacting to the Psychommu.
>Amate: Psy...commu?

Char boosts his damaged Gundam to its feet as Jerid's Gundam makes landing, spinning its beam javelin.

>Jerid: Now "this" is just what I have been waiting for! Zeon terrorist! Had to rely on one of our machines rather than your own?
>Quattro: I never caught your name.
>Amate: I-is this really the...aaah...!
>Quattro: Stay with me. No matter what, you are getting out of here alive.

Feeling her senses being sapped, Amate collapses against Char's chest as the two Gundams engage one another. Springing back awake, Amate turns to find Char unconscious, with his Gundam reading multiple "errors" on its monitors.

>Amate: T-this can't...Char! Wake up-

Desperately shaking Char to try and awaken him, one of the monitors flickers to show a visual of Jerid stepping out from his also inactive Gundam.
