Our system is gerrymandered to shit. Elections here are decided in the Golden Horseshoe (Montreal, Ottawa, Toronto) and the rest of the country can ear shit as far as they’re concerned. We also have a lovely first past the post system ensuring that even if the popular vote is against the liberals, they still win because of the population density out east, and the fact that they get to vote first.
