I don't feel like pretty cutscenes or budget would improve Multiple Eitos much. The writing is peak and therefore it's peak.
Eva though, it has neither the writing nor the cutscenes. It's pretty much "and then we were in love". It could have worked but it's rushed and undercooked. Cutscenes can't fix the lack of writing.
