Chainlink has gone from a platform that just provides price feeds only on Ethereum, to a platform that provides cross-chain interoperability and price feeds to like 60 chains, to a platform that functions as a unified golden record and decentralized computation infrastructure that also provides cross-chain interoperability and price feeds. Saying it's taken 7 years to moon is farcical because the platform has only in the last 6 months approached what could be considered as resembling the complete Chainlink vision.

Regarding the price currentlt being lower than previous years, I think we can say that in 2021 it was overvalued relative to its (then) revenue, and right now it's more fairly valued relative to its (now) revenue. However, considering future revenues, I think even 2021 undervalued it.
