I played when the game released and checked in every year or two, I have about 50hrs. I play a decent amount of TPS games, and last year I improved my aim a lot so its pretty easy for me to get headshots.
I like playing defensive, and setting up traps. I keep thinking about going into duos as a solo and focusing on hunting other players. I want to try finding a spot not far from the boss and setting up an ambush. I want to go to a location between the boss and the nearest exit, set up some traps, place some bait like a toolbox or ammo, and seeing if I can snipe one of the bounty holders. When one is down the other wont abandon his buddy (surely) and so I'll reposition and wait to see if anyone will revive the guy or attempt to loot the bounty. Rinse repeat.
Depending on the situation I might leave the ambush spot and await closer to the boss to see if I can 3rd-party any fights that break out.
I also wanna chill in the woods along the roads, put some traps in the bushes and just chill and see if anyone walks on by. Maybe throw a chaos bomb to see if any opportunistic fellas pull up.
Whats a good loadout for this style of play?
Also im 4* rn. I really do like the idea of playing stealthy.
