The glock has a much better trigger, which is embarrassing for the hcpro, but otherwise they feel and shoot almost identically. I dont like 19's because of how much of an "in betweener" they are for me personally. Im 6' 4" with a lean athletic build meaning I can conceal a full size without issue. If I dont want to carry a full size, I probably want as little gun as possible for comfort so skipping straight to subcompacts like the hcp and 43x works well for me. I run shield arms 15rd mags with their steel mag catch and haven't had any reliability issues so far, so capacity isnt a concern. To be honest I stopped carrying the hcp after getting the 43x. I shoot very well with the springfield but realistically Im going to be point shooting with a pistol of this size, which is how I've been training with them recently. In doing so I realized the extra bulk of the dot and extended magazine just isnt worth it. If I need an optic and more gun to grip depending on where im headed, ill just carry a bigger gun that day. A g19 doesn't close the gap for me where a g17 does, hence me not having a 19 in rotation. Hopefully that makes sense, still waiting for coffee to kick in.
