Gender confusion is about three times more common in autistic people than in the general population but since it's less than 1% in the general population, it's still below 3% in autistics. People high on emotions and terrible at math allow themselves to be convinced most trannies are autistic and most autistics are trannies. There's an above typical correlation but it's more than an order of magnitude away from being the majority.
