The answer is you want others to agree with you because it gives you gratification and therefore confidence in your idea
If you truly, genuinely believed Tama was joining, you would be so secure in that opinion that you would feel no need to share it at all, because then you wouldn't have any investment in the opinions of others in the first place
You shouldn't care if you think others are wrong or not, so the fact you apparently do pulls apart the nature all of your intentions
