im playing the souls trilogy for the first time, havent tried BB yet
i havent finished DS3 but so far what i feel is that nothing feels truly hard when you just mindlessly iframe attacks and barely have to give much of a shit. feels like such a drop in quality compared to having played DS2 without leveling ADP (bar frigid outskirts)
something like abyss watchers would have been much better if they kept some degree of DS3 speed, but made the rolls more i-frame less, and the bosses designed around actually dodging like in 2
