Toriyama was a senile hack who pulled a George Lucas and wanted to reinvent his IP out of spite of a shitty foreign adaptation. As a result, he concocted repetitive, fanservice-esque and garbage slop sequels in the form of Fukkatsu no F, U6, Super Hero and Daima. He has butchered all of his characters and regressed them to the point of retardation. He has created a manga alongside it in which he hired a demented fan to draw and write it for him while only providing vague oversight.
In regards to the anime, the arcs of Goku Black and the Tournament of Power have saving grace because TOEI salvages it by adding bits of SOVL, however, it is only a bit. He has assassinated many concepts with useless retcons, and by listening to TOEI's retarded executive, Iyoku, and Toyotaro as well, has turned modern Dragon Ball into a shitshow of disconnected coherence. From Vegetto existing again, to Daima's sloppy retcons, to the discontinuity between modern DB and the End of Z, he has made it so that Dragon Ball cannot be the same again.
In his attempts to get back at TOEI for making Goku a superhero, he has regressed his character not only in maturity, but in in his adeptness to martial arts as evident from the manga. He has made the two Saiyans have to relearn basic tenets and techniques that they were already adept in back in the original manga just for the sake of driving the plot forward. He has created a rehash of an anime exclusive, on the verge of death, after the pesterance of the TOEI executive which leaves a deep stain on the franchise. By his own words, he has also allowed and prefers when said animation studio lays their hand in destroying the franchise via the meddling of the characters and lore. Out of his own volition, has this man, may God rest his soul, ruined his magnus opus by his inabiliy to let it go.
