Suits don't see things from the standpoint of fans. They routinely got into the habit of firing people after a few years so that no one could become senior and demand more money, so everyone is this clueless fresh out of uni idiot who knows literally nothing. That's by design. Then they make these clueless nobodies make a new game based on an old IP. The suits only know Perfect Dark as a chart on a page showing it sold millions 20 years ago. They don't know anything.

Passionate and talented peopel do NOT get hired, and if they did, there is no reward mechanism for them. Any shock it's just clueless nobodies whose passiosn are twitter politics?

These companies are just too god damn big and need to be broken into smaller ones. Dev teams need to massively shrink. The AAA model is also flawed.
