So I think this headline is actually misleading. Their budget is now $40 billion or so, not $100 billion. There's funding for immigration related things that I think they're lumping into that to get to $100 billion.
Still it's a needed increase in funding. They need more agents, more detention space, more border guards, finish the wall, etc.
