"Some people like calling them the Three Fairies of Light but I always forget why. It's okay, you'll get to know 'em."
"How many fairies even are there in Gensokyo..? Would that even be possible to tally?"
Cirno crosses her arms in front of her as she begins radiating a great amount of pride over the very idea.
"Hmph. Fairies are obviously the biggest species in Gensokyo by far - other groups can't even compare to our numbers! Wherever you see nature at work, there's bound to be a Fairy hanging around somewhere. And don't you forget it lest you suffer the consequences of underestimating us!"
Frankly, there was a lot around here that Renko was certain she'd never forget but she'd try and keep the fact that these mischievous little gremlins were apparently practically everywhere in-mind.
"Well, help is still help after all. But if we only have an hour then we need to get going right away. Is there anything else you need to take care of before we head out?"
"I was going to ask you the same thing. If you're ready now then let's get things started!"
"Alright! What's the quickest route to Marisa's from here then?"
"We can cut right through those pine trees and take a secret hidden path that feeds into the Forest! It's been mostly abandoned for years but I use it all the time when I need to get over there quickly."

"You better take the lead then. I'll be right behind you as best I can."
"Perfect~! /Onwards to the Magic Shop!/"

With a newfound spring to her step, Cirno fully raises herself off the ground with a quick flutter of her icicle wings and twirls around to shake off the powdered snow still clinging to her. She triumphantly turns away from the southeastern banks of the Lake and begins flying off towards the surrounding woods, Renko trailing her escapade from the soggy marshlands below. It's not as if Cirno had started flying at breakneck speeds but Renko still found this pursuit much easier to handle compared to the one led by Eternity, even with the surrounding fog. Mostly thanks to her lack of things to carry beyond the handbag, though the immediate surrounding landscape was just a bit more forgiving compared to the heart of the Forest of Magic as well.
A few solid minutes of passing through mossy underbrush and withering Autumn foliage alike went by, Cirno nearly losing Renko by flying too far ahead on more than one occasion, before the mist of the Lake finally began to clear. More of the surrounding pines had started giving way to a greater variety of trees and the spotted roof of aging leaves overhead had only gotten thicker and more clustered together. Renko knew they were seriously getting close when she ran into her first patch of wild mushrooms, though the abandoned path Cirno had been leading her down was only growing more clustered with the gnarled roots and vines of the surrounding trees. It was quite fortunate that they were still far from hitting sundown; knowing Gensokyo, this path likely wasn't really all that abandoned come nightfall.
Before Renko had realized it, after a few incidental frivolous pitstops thanks to Cirno, the two were on the outskirts of Marisa's property once again some 20-odd minutes later. The Shop looked nearly identical to how it was the last time Renko saw it, though the area was now eerily still and quiet compared to how it normally felt with its owner inside. Even the junk littered around the front seemed as undisturbed as ever. At least it was likely that Marisa apparently hasn’t exactly had a need to worry about looters then.

Until now.

“So everything else you brought with you from the Outside is in there, right?”
“As long as nobody’s been around to disturb any of it, I should know exactly where everything is. If everything goes perfectly then we might even be able to get through with this relatively quickly."
"What do you even mean by 'perfectly' then?"
"Well, for starters..."
As they talked, the two girls made their way around the house from where they arrived to the front where Renko immediately gravitated toward the front door. It had been clear to the Physicist what the main issue with waltzing right in could be this whole time but it never hurts to try the obvious anyways.

She once again finds herself face to face with a locked door that refuses to budge. Would she really need to resort to breaking into Marisa's as well somehow?
"Damnit, knew it wouldn't be that easy. Were there even any other entrances..?"
"Hey, why don't we just try one of the windows?"
A good enough alternative, though Renko did ultimately doubt that the outcome would be any different for any one of the windows. Sure enough, a few strained tugs against one of the panes proved the college girl right once again. She snapped her fingers in frustration before beginning to retreat back into her head to work through the logistics of all the options available to her, meandering away from the front and wandering about Marisa's front lawn in what was almost a personal group huddle.
